5 WFH Outfits with the Amour Vert Skylar Joggers
Last week on Instagram stories, I styled my newest pair of joggers in a different work from home outfit every day. I did this mainly to force myself to think more creatively when coming up with outfits because I found myself in a major WFH outfit rut. I’m not about to show you my Stylebook calendar right now but let’s just say I was wearing a lot of the same items over and over again because I got lazy, and easy is always better when I’m lazy!
In order to break out of that rut, I styled my newest pair of joggers, the Amour Vert Skylar dream rib joggers, in five different WFH outfits! I’m not exaggerating when I say I never want to take these joggers off. The dream rib really is dreamy!
5 Work From Home Outfits with the Amour Vert Skylar Joggers
I picked the Amour Vert Skylar dream rib joggers for this challenge because they’re my most recent jogger addition and I wanted to show just how versatile green joggers can be! I didn’t let myself wear them until this challenge…mostly because I wanted to keep them as free of cat hair as possible. Ha!

Luxe Fleece ($98)
Cozy brushed interior fleece with a smooth exterior. 68% modal, 27% organic cotton, 5% spandex. Currently available in black and tempest blue (sky blue; available in limited sizes on sale).
As with most of their products, all of the Skylar joggers are made responsibly in the U.S.!
I ordered the Skylar dream rib joggers in vetiver, size XS. The reviews suggested they run a little big and I would have to agree. My pre-pandemic size was XS and now I’m more of a small, but the Skylar joggers in XS still fit with lots of room to breathe, even around the waist. They’re the perfect WFH companion! The pockets are clutch, too. Not sure that I can ever wear pants without pockets again!
MONDAY • SKYLAR JOGGERS + COTTON SWEATER
I didn’t plan any of the outfits ahead of time, so you’re getting outfits that I throw on first thing in the morning and, to no one’s surprise, Monday’s outfit wasn’t very inspired. I wanted to pair the green Skylar joggers with white/ivory at some point, so for Monday I picked an ivory textured cotton sweater because it was a chilly day. I added the Maison Miru crystal stud earrings for a little bit of sparkle, plus these earrings are small enough that they don’t poke when I wear my headphones.
Anytime I wear white/ivory, I end up eating a lunch that could potentially stain. Every. Time. I don’t ever intend for that to happen! I ate chili leftovers for lunch on Monday, but I can confidently say that I did not get any drops of chili on my ivory sweater. A true miracle!

TUESDAY • SKYLAR JOGGERS + STRIPED TEE + SWEATER BLAZER
I played with the idea of wearing monochrome green outfits all week but decided to spare you all. I pulled out my newest sweater blazer for my Tuesday outfit. I’m not super crazy about these particular greens together but I liked this combo better than my green cardigan (last seen here).
I also wore a tee I haven’t blogged in quite a while, my old grey striped tee that also happens to be from Amour Vert! I’m in love with their modal blend tees; they’re soo soft, fit perfectly, aren’t sheer, and don’t shrink in the wash. Can’t ask for much more than that from a tee! This one is a fun basics-with-a-twist-type tee with the side tie.

WEDNESDAY • SKYLAR JOGGERS + STRIPED HENLEY + BASEBALL CAP
This Wednesday outfit challenges Monday for being the most uninspired. Ooof! I thought this was a good idea at the time but it’s actually pretty boring overall, at least from a style blog perspective. Ha. Maybe it’s just because I’ve been wearing this tee a LOT lately? You obviously didn’t know that until now but maybe that’s why I feel meh about it.
I actually wanted to see how well these joggers worked with a tucked-in top (and to show how high the rise is), and I’m pleasantly surprised that you can’t really see any lumps or bumps from the henley tee. (The pockets are still fairly visible, which is an unfortunate feature but not a dealbreaker since I’m not wearing these joggers out and about.)
The colors also feel like a mishmash, but overall, even though it is pretty boring, I really liked this outfit. This is the type of outfit I’d wear and be okay with Rosie sitting on my lap all day while I work, if that makes sense. She can get this hairy and it wouldn’t be a big deal. (Or I can spill my lunch and it wouldn’t be a big deal.) Most of my other items, I try not to get hairy/dirty. Perhaps that’s why I’ve been wearing the same items over and over up until now?

THURSDAY • SKYLAR JOGGERS + TROPICAL SHIRT + CASHMERE CARDIGAN
What is this? A pattern other than stripes??? It’s true: I finally wore my lovely tropical-print tank that hasn’t left my closet in over a year! This is one of those tops I baby because it’s silk and I don’t want to ruin it. I’ve since stopped buying silk; it’s just too delicate for my lifestyle at this point. I still love the print, which is why this shirt is still around. Plus, it’s a green pattern, and I love how it looks with the green joggers even if the greens don’t match exactly.
It’s not currently warm enough in my house to wear a sleeveless shirt with no extra layer, so I popped my cashmere cardigan on top and it was perfect. This was my favorite outfit of the week!

FRIDAY • SKYLAR JOGGERS + CROPPED SWEATSHIRT + LAYERED NECKLACES
Even though I didn’t have any outfits fully planned ahead of time, I was planning to wear this pink sweatshirt with the Skylar joggers. It’s a color combo made in heaven! I forced myself to save this one until Friday as kind of a treat for making it through the other days, haha. This outfit and the Wednesday look are the most casual of the five (at least, when you consider what I’m wearing on top!).
To elevate this casual Friday work from home outfit, I added my necklace set. It was the first time I wore all three necklaces together, and I quite like how it all looked with the sweatshirt! This is my second favorite outfit of the week in terms of creativity. Wednesday wins as far as overall comfort, but this one is not far behind!

I enjoyed this little style challenge I forced onto myself last week. I need to start getting into the mindset of actually dressing myself again because I won’t be working from home forever. It’s looking like I’ll be back in the office sometime this summer. Boo! Guess it’s time to stop buying joggers…
Anyway! I love my new Skylar joggers so much, and you can bet I’ll be wearing them every (other) day until I have to go back into the office again. I hope this inspired you to play around with your closet if you’re in a bit of a work from home outfit rut, too! Which outfit is your favorite?
