Back to the Office Style Sudoku: Outfits 5–9
I’m back with the next five outfits from my “back to the office” style sudoku! I’m grouping the 14 outfits into three separate posts to be published on the first three Fridays in June. Two weeks down, one week to go! It’s the first time I’m wearing a style sudoku on only the weekdays and taking the weekends off. Read my thoughts on each of the outfits I wore below. (As always, you can follow along with the outfits in real time over on Instagram stories!)

OUTFIT 5 • Monday, June 7th
It’s the start of week two back in the office and the first Monday in the office in over a year. Whew. I did NOT miss those, haha!
My black blazer is a ponte knit/jersey that is super comfortable yet still somewhat structured, and anytime I wear it I feel like I need to attend an important meeting. It’s really not a formal blazer at all, and yet it feels quite formal for my office that leans on the casual end of business casual. I love to dress it down with a good ol’ pair of jeans, like my Cali demi-boot jeans from Madewell that I’ve been wearing constantly since they joined my wardrobe a couple of years ago. I’m always keeping my eye out for a new wash to add to the collection, especially since so many of my jeans don’t fit anymore!

OUTFIT 6 • Tuesday, June 8th
Today was the start of a three-day virtual conference, so I wore my best conference wear: a sweater blazer and wide leg pants that no one saw on camera because I didn’t turn my camera on (only the colleagues in my office saw it…not that they paid any attention, lol!). I noticed during the conference that most of the people with their cameras on were still at home and it bummed me out that I was back in the office. That’s Idaho for you, I guess…
I really like this outfit in theory: the color combination is GREAT and definitely what I needed to boost my mood, but the rise of the pants is lower than I remember it being, and the tee doesn’t tuck that nicely because of it, so it ended up being fussier than I was hoping it’d be. These pants are also less comfortable to sit in all day than my jeans. Oh well!

OUTFIT 7 • Wednesday, June 9th
Alright, y’all: I have to be real with you. I didn’t actually wear this outfit yet. I actually wore the exact outfit I wore on Monday again on Wednesday and didn’t realize it until I was putting this post together. How, do you ask? I have no idea. I blame tired work brain... I’m super annoyed with myself. I promise to wear this outfit, though, and I’ll share when it happens on Instagram! (Planning for June 21st right now.)
Anywayyy, I guess I don’t have much to say about this particular outfit right now. Haha! I still can’t believe I wore the same outfit twice in three days and didn’t realize it. No one else seemed to notice, either. Moral of the story: REPEAT YOUR OUTFITS!!! Wear what you LOVE to wear! I promise no one else will notice, and if you’re like me, you might not even notice, either. Lolol.
I had the pleasure of going to the dentist and getting a prescription for sensitive toothpaste, so that’s where I’m at. Such a fun way to spend a Wednesday!

OUTFIT 8 • Thursday, June 10th
I woke up to rain and temperatures below 50°F! It was snowing on the mountains! It rained a lot (by Boise standards), so I opted to wear one of my outfits with the sneakers. Didn’t want to risk ruining a pair of sandals! I wore my new One/Third Jacket 09 (review here), which worked wonderfully for the walk from the car to the office. By the end of the day, the sun reappeared and it was absolutely gorgeous! And warmer!
Since I knew today was going to be a colder one, I had a feeling I wasn’t going to be warm enough in this outfit because there was no way the heater at work was on. I’m wearing the sweater blazer, but the sleeves are only 3/4-length, and the top underneath doesn’t have sleeves, so I spent the majority of the day with chills. I was -this close- to turning on my space heater. It’s almost mid June!

OUTFIT 9 • Friday, June 11th
I’m forecasting this outfit because the post is going live before I actually wear it! This is a comfy outfit, perfect for a Friday at work. I won’t be spending all day in the office; I have an eye procedure scheduled for the afternoon that I’m sooo not excited for, but it has to be done in order to prevent needing surgery in the future. Yay! Lol.
On the bright side, I FINALLY found my work badge! It was in my house in the dumbest spot ever, which is how that normally happens for me: under an Easter basket I’ve yet to put away. Who knows why it was under there… Anyway… 😐
