Everything I Bought in the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (NAS) is officially open to everyone as of last Monday, July 15th! I enjoy seeing what “normal” people like myself buy and actually wear/use, so I hope you find this post helpful if you’ve been considering making a purchase. It overwhelms me to look through the whole sale (thankfully a lot of full-time bloggers do this for me/us and put together guides), so if that’s you, too, I hope this helps!

Just a reminder (for you as well as myself)… The Anniversary Sale is just that: a sale. There will always be another sale. If what you wanted sold out, there will be similar items made in the future. There are some good deals to be had, but there are also some not-so-great deals, and some items will, as I learned the hard way, be marked down even greater a month or so after the NAS ends. Bookmark/save the items you like to your wish list and watch for returns and future discounts!

Unlike the past couple of years, as a Nordy Club member only, I was NOT able to shop the sale early. The Nordy Club is their rewards program, and it’s free to join! Unfortunately, Nordstrom seems to have discontinued their double points days for Nordy Club members unless you also have the credit card, which I don’t, so sadly I did not get extra points. The points you earn go towards notes (coupons) for discounts off future purchases.

Here’s everything I bought in the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I think I spent the most money this year than I have in years past, gulp. This is a judgement-free zone, ha! Please share what all you purchased in the comments.

Good American Good Waist Raw Hem High Waist Crop Palazzo Jeans • Sale Price: $106 (After Sale: $159)
I’ve had my eyes on Good American jeans for a few months now and decided to take the plunge on this pair of wide leg jeans! I ordered the last pair available in my size (or what I think my size is…it was recommended to size up, so I ordered the 8), so I’m trying not to get my hopes up in case they don’t ship.

Zella Renew Mélange Support Crop Tank • Sale Price: $33 (After Sale: $49)
This crop tank in black looks like it would match a Zella bra top and leggings set I purchased a couple of years ago or so! I purchased size small because that’s the size I wear in the other set.

Zella Studio Luxe Pocket Bike Shorts • Sale Price: $40 (After Sale: $59)
Now that I’m taking barre classes regularly, I’ve been on the hunt for more workout gear, and bike shorts are my go-to in the hot weather! The black sold out quickly, so I got the grey thunder instead (but am watching for restocks in black). I purchased size medium.

Zella Studio Luxe High Waist Pocket 7/8 Leggings • Sale Price: $50 (After Sale: $79)
Zella makes some of my very favorite leggings and have been a consistent NAS purchase of mine. I’ve tried a few different Zella styles over the years (read my giant list of Zella reviews), and this is the first time I’m trying the “studio luxe” version (the older “studio lite” version was a favorite of mine). The 7/8 length is perfect on me, and I purchased these in medium.

Zella Live In Pocket Joggers • Sale Price: $43 (After Sale: $65)
I love my Zella joggers from previous sales and decided to order a new-to-me style in size medium!

Chantelle Soft Stretch Thong • Sale Price: $15 (After Sale: $20)
I first ordered three pairs of these undies in the sale two years ago, and they’re now my favorite pairs to wear under workout gear, so I bought four more pairs in the sale this year. Chantelle undies are one size, designed for sizes XS-XL. Because of that, they still work even though my waist has expanded a bit since 2022. If you buy at least three pairs, the price is reduced to $13 each (and this deal is good with any style of Chantelle undies, so you can mix and match!

Chantelle Soft Stretch High Waist Briefs • Sale Price: $15 (After Sale: $20)
Like the thongs, I also purchased a couple of pairs of Chantelle’s high waist briefs in 2022 and again this year. They’re thin and that makes them nice to wear under skirts and dresses as well as under jeans. These are also one size and fit me great; the tightest spot is the seam around the legs, which might irritate someone with larger thighs than me. (I also do NOT recommend wearing them shortly after shaving the bikini area…ooof.)

Nordstrom Moonlight Long Sleeve Stretch Modal Short Pajamas • Sale Price: $50 (After Sale: $75)
People rave about these pajamas every year, and every year they sell out before I can get some myself, until now! I was thinking after ordering the long-sleeve set with shorts that I should have ordered the short-sleeve set with shorts instead; I have plenty of long-sleeve sleep shirts but could use another short sleeve option. I might end up ordering the latter. After reading reviews saying they run a bit big, I ordered them in size small.

Blondo Emmalyn Waterproof Bootie • Sale Price: $120 (After Sale: $180)
I was really excited about these boots and ordered them before the reviews came in, and so far they aren’t so great. I’ve been wanting more all-weather boots that I can throw on when it’s rainy! We’ll see if I like these. I purchased tan leather in size 7.5; I usually size up a half size in Blondo.

Nordstrom Mia Chelsea Lug Boot • Sale Price: $70 (After Sale: $100)
Did I need white boots? No. Did I want to try them anyway? YES! I actually tried a pair of creamy white ankle boots a couple of years ago and the leather wasn’t very supple, so I ended up returning them. These boots get rave reviews for how inexpensive they are. I’m a little scared by white boots but I want to branch out! I ordered my usual size 7.

Ugg Cozetta Curly Genuine Shearling Slide Slipper • Sale Price: $70 (After Sale: $100)
I’ve purchased Ugg slippers in past sales, so why not continue that trend? I wear them all the time around the house! I like that these slippers are slides so your toes can air out a bit—perfect for summer! I purchased size 7.

HOME + BEAUTY

Nordstrom Bliss Throw Blanket • Sale Price: $30 (After Sale: $45)
It seems I have to buy a new blanket in every Nordstrom sale, haha. I just love these! They’re so soft and hold up very well in the wash, so mine are still kicking and I don’t need any for myself, but like to keep them on hand for gifts.

Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve • Sale Price: $21 (After Sale: $33)
I’ll be honest: When I first saw this product in the catalog for twice as much money as it was in years past, I thought I was losing my mind. Turns out the 5 ounce bottle is part of the sale this year whereas it was the 2.5 ounce bottle before. Whew! You know I love Kiehl’s products, and the hand salve is one of my favorites of the bunch. Shop all Kiehl’s products in the NAS.

Moroccanoil Treatment Home & Away Set • Sale Price: $50 ($74 Value)
I use Moroccanoil on my hair after washing it (and have for years!), so I knew I would get use out of this set that features one larger bottle and one smaller bottle.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Jumbo + Go Set • Sale Price: $52 ($78 Value)
Korri and I both use the unseen sunscreen religiously, so I knew we would both get use out of this set. I’m looking forward to trying the sunscreen stick, which supposedly works on top of makeup without messing it up!

I went a LOT crazy this year compared to years past. 😅 I’m fully prepared to return anything I’m not completely in love with!

Other items on my wish list include the Zella bike shorts I ordered but in black, Zella Effortless Hybrid Racerback Midi Dress (watching for a restock), Blondo Alida Waterproof Bootie (just saw that the tan suede is back in stock, which is the color I was originally eyeing, but now I’m wondering if black would be better), and AG Saige High Waist Ankle Wide Leg Jeans (another restock I’m watching for).
