Colorblocked
I am so glad that today is Saturday! I had a short week this week thanks to Presidents' Day, but it sure felt just as long as a normal week. I slept in this morning and have basically zero plans today once I finish this post, so I'm excited for that. :) (Maybe I'll be productive and try organizing my mess of a room...ha!)
Today's post features an outfit I could not wait to wear once I thought of it, but it ended up not being as exciting in real life as it was in my head. Does anyone else build outfits up in their head? I'm not disappointed in it, but it just wasn't as exciting as I had built it up to be, haha.
That said, I love the colorblocking effect going on with the burgundy sweater, tan skirt, and then black tights and boots. I broke out a necklace for the first time in a while since I felt like the outfit looked a little plain without something around the neck and a scarf didn't feel right. My Gorjana necklace is the perfect delicate necklace; I wear it and my monogrammed Kate Spade necklace much more than any of my statement necklaces, so I'm on the hunt for more delicate necklaces like those to bring some understated sparkle to my wardrobe.
Hope you have a great weekend! :)
